I am late with this as I have been more offline lately due to life unravelling... but I got online to give thanks.. Proper thanks that is.

I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to feature with thumbs anymore, don't chat ( bad experience with one lil punk elitist, spoiled it for me ) so featuring people is what I do with my sub... and came to my rescue!! I honestly haven't words enough to describe how elated, and how grateful I am for such a wonderful gift!

Mikey is a super friend, and a wonderful support, not just for me but for many others as well. As his name suggests, he is creative... you never catch him without that thinking cap on and so I chose not only to feature from his selection of featured deviations, but also from his experimental as well... it's ALL great stuff!!

sub running out ssooo...... HUGE FEATURE... staying up for a while!!

My sub is coming to an end, I have appreciated it and tried to put it to good use. I thought the best thing for me to do, since without a sub you can't do thumbs ( lame!! ), I ought to do one HUGE feature and just leave it up.. hopefully they'll let it stay Anyhow..

I went to the site ( thankfully he provided the link ) and he was already using my image in his bg!! I have asked him to remove it, but it's still there!! He also has a DA account... He has NO deviations posted, only collects!!

Quite honestly, I was honored at first.. to think.. somebody actually WANTED one of MY photos to use But to find out it was already being used, and with no credit, no NOTHING.. I soon was saddened.. then upon asking for it to be removed only to find out it's still being used.. FRUSTRATED!!
Anyhow... not sure what else to do... soo.. on with the goods

I would NEVER NOT fav someone because they have a million fav's already or because they are insanely popular / their art is insanely popular...

I simply believe that they don't need as much help getting their images exposed - FACT
or that they shouldn't get a fav'd ( atleast by me ) BASED SOLELY ON WHO THEY ARE / THE NUMBER OF FAV'S.. that I should be fav'ng the ART Which I do

This means more than just fav'ing the most popular artist's on DA

What could YOU do to Support ART?? I'm glad you asked

A few things you could do are:

* start a collection folder called ( ? ) Support ART ( you're gettin it )

* get out there and fav / comment on some deserving yet under- exposed artist's.. unless you only fav the artist's that have 15,000 fav's

* Suggest a DD once in a while wouldja!! I'm off to suggest some that I've collected for nomination as well

come up with some fresh ideas to help support fellow artists who don't get the exposure they deserve

I personally, being a beginner, also like to feature and support who else?? BEGINNERS there are a lot of us out there who could definitely use the support ESPECIALLY the comments.. Remember, we were all beginners at some point.. EVEN YOU!! So, get out there and show some love
