very glad to be back, although it will be spotty at best for a bit with so much going on. Moving in the next few days, and a few other things. We recently had a death in the family and travelled across the country for the services. While it was so wonderful to meet relatives on my husband's side of the Family whom my kids and I had never met, it was terribly sad that it was because of his Sister's passing. RIP Kelly.
He had done for me 2 months ago ( almost ) is get me a macro lens. it's only 1:1 so there will still be shots that I won't be able to get that others can, but on the journal advice of :hellfirediva: it is a TRUE 1:1 MACRO LENS.
Yayyyyy... he got me a macro lens!! Thank you hubby!!
Anyhow, we did also get a few prints made up... LARGE ones, and to my surprise, they were pretty good. Considering the fact that I'm still a beginner and self teaching, but having said that they were better than I expected. Not tooting my own horn here, I still need A LOTTT of work, I should have sharpened up the drop in the one print, and I need to learn better lighting techniques which I could point out flaws as well due to that fact. I also need to learn how to use PhotoShop so I can edit the photos as well.. lol, Yet I digress.!! ,)
Will post some of the macros hoping to get feedback. Constructive Criticism please, I am new and have little of the equipment that I need, and with very limited space ( and not the best conditions ) to take these photos in either.. So bare that in mind and critique kindly please Any tips, suggestions, or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! Kyrstie
apologies for the post being so nervous.. but I'm nervous!!
